Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Matt Ryan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the final whistle sounded Netherlands left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than F.Salgado F.C..
