Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sreten Popovic made the kick off and thus started the match. After 4 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Jovan Borisov. In the 9th play minute Lucas Guedes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Róbson Messias got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 16 minutes into the game, Elano Alves threw the ball into play from the sideline. Serbia's Jovan Borisov quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. The audience thought a goal was coming when João Pedro de Senna got free with Zvezdan Nedeljkovic in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Serbia defense, Róbson Messias kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. The Serbia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zvezdan Nedeljkovic should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Lucas Guedes ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. A throw-in in the 39th minute of the game was made by Norberto Chaves with Gilvan Chaves as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Toninho Terra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Róbson Messias to make the kick off. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Rockets's Róbson Messias. But to his dismay, Róbson Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. The Rockets fans' excitement grew in the 57th match minute when Rockets's Róbson Messias looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, João Pedro de Senna managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rockets's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro de Senna was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gilvan Chaves scored 6-0 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 65th minute, Gilvan Chaves made a precise shot to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. After a rather tough play, Serbia's Momir Gisic got a free kick in the 71st minute. 77 minutes into the match, Lucas Guedes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zvezdan Nedeljkovic. Serbia's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Lucas Guedes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. In the 81st minute Róbson Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zvezdan Nedeljkovic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 84 minutes into the match, Rockets's goalkeeper João Adolfo Mineiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sreten Popovic. Serbia's attentive Momir Gisic managed to snatch the ball when Elano Alves made a throw-in in the 89th minute of the game. Zvezdan Nedeljkovic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Guedes in the 91st minute of the match. Borjan Golubovic's late challenge caught a Rockets's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Borjan Golubovic helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Serbia got a freekick which was hit by Borjan Golubovic. In the 95th minute, Norberto Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
