Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gijsbert ter Kruimer got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goal looked a bit too open when Gustaaf Groeneveldt came free, but Gunnar Lidberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gunnar Lidberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Cesar Domingues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Eikelkamp kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 11th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gunnar Lidberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 18th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bas Tuitert to maneuver through the defense. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Netherlands from getting a goal against them. Gunnar Lidberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Gunnar Lidberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 27th minute of play. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jack Ekenberg in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 32nd minute of play forced Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 33 minutes Mörknäs Electric Vikings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Netherlands's David Eikelkamp was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gunnar Lidberg in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 35th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Netherlands's David Eikelkamp getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Gunnar Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 played minutes Mörknäs Electric Vikings got a freekick which was hit by Roald Carlos. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edgar Trulsson to make the kick off. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jack Ekenberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Jack Ekenberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. Edgar Trulsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Arnout Reekers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's Cristo Danel got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Gunnar Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristo Danel came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mörknäs Electric Vikings fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Danel couldn't finish the play. If Gijsbert ter Kruimer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Gijsbert ter Kruimer came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't finish the play. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cesar Domingues went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Wim Wilmes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Gunnar Lidberg made a huge save. 86 minutes into the match, Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalkeeper Gunnar Lidberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. In the 87th minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Mörknäs Electric Vikings's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gunnar Lidberg quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Mörknäs Electric Vikings was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Larkin Winkless didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Gunnar Lidberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Mörknäs Electric Vikings's zone, Wim Wilmes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gunnar Lidberg came out of the goal and Wim Wilmes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gijsbert ter Kruimer to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle, Mörknäs Electric Vikings could leave the field as winners, despite Netherlands having more of the ball for most of the match.
