Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute, FC Lugano's Benoit Ritieni dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Godo Gøl made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Metod Mlynar in the 8th minute of play. 9 minutes into the game, Stefan Havel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slovakia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Lugano the free kick. Stefan Havel kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ray Büeler in the 11th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 12th minute of play forced FC Lugano's goalkeeper Godo Gøl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match clock showed 14 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Benoit Ritieni sped through Slovakia's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. After 20 minutes, Pavol Koleno mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Slovakia and the FC Lugano players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Pavol Koleno got a free kick in the 20th minute. After having played for 21 minutes, Benoit Ritieni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Lugano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benoit Ritieni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Ray Büeler made a precise shot to the right of Henrich Slany. Slovakia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. A collision led to FC Lugano getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Nereo Precioso hit a great ball. Henrich Slany made an important save on a dangerous shot by Teddy Racine in the 28th minute. Benoit Ritieni took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benoit Ritieni in the 33rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Henrich Slany prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ray Büeler could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Henrich Slany made a huge save. Jerome Achen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henrich Slany having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Metod Mlynar made the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Slovakia booed when FC Lugano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jerome Achen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zigmund Maliar shot from long distance in the 52nd minute, but Godo Gøl was prepared and stopped the ball at the left post. In the 54th minute, Benoit Ritieni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 7-0. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ray Büeler in the 65th minute of the match. 8-0 became the score in the 67th minute when Benoit Ritieni elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Slovakia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jirko Bur was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Lugano's players had a chance to rest. Ray Büeler scored 9-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Henrich Slany, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79thth minute of the game Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Slovakia's Henrich Slany was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the game, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 10-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon in the 83rd minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by FC Lugano's Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon. But to his dismay, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 11-0. In the 91st minute, Khachonkiat Pornsaptaveekoon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Henrich Slany was frozen by the shot and now it was 12-0.
