If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Torino SSA defense, Balazs Lajos kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benjamin de Mendonça. The Torino SSA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benjamin de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. 26 minutes into the match, Takacs Tibor notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Torino SSA's Benjamin de Mendonça. Benjamin de Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedito Braga, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 46th minute of play forced Torino SSA's goalkeeper Benjamin de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Antal Valentin made the kick off in the second half. Antal Valentin's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Benjamin de Mendonça firmly grabbed it by the left post. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Sasu in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute Benedito Braga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Benedito Braga came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
