Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Zaccheo Andolina started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dr Lecter SC's goalkeeper Celso Trevisan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Dr Lecter SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fabiano Pitta in the 10th minute. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 17th minute of play. Porziano Marchitelli sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 24th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Corneliu Dridu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Corneliu Dridu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 42nd minute of play. Deodato Magliozzi made in the 44th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Siricio Liotta however managed to control. After 46 minutes of play, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celso Trevisan was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Corneliu Dridu was the one to do the kick off. Zaccheo Andolina's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 59thth minute, Celso Trevisan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 61st minute Zaccheo Andolina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celso Trevisan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso Trevisan made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Zaccheo Andolina sent off a good shot on target. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 66th minute of play. Corneliu Dridu scored 2-1 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a little luck, Dr Lecter SC's Celso Trevisan got control of the ball when Zaccheo Andolina tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celso Trevisan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corneliu Dridu in the 73rd minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 80th minute Omid Kaulbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corneliu Dridu in the 82nd minute of the match. Dr Lecter SC made a substitution. In the 89th minute, Porziano Marchitelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Adriano Curto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Celso Trevisan. That made the score 2-3 after 95 minutes of play.
