In the 34thth minute of the game Frank Peletier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of France booed when MAFFIAN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pete Sampras didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andre Agassi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
