Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) MAFFIAN's Andre Agassi started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andre Agassi's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Barbier in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Pete Sampras. Camille Baume sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 20 minutes into the match, Frank Peletier notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of MAFFIAN's Aron Dahlbom. Aron Dahlbom was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alf Säfström charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alf Säfström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 24 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Alf Säfström. In the 26th match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pete Sampras to maneuver through the defense. Camille Baume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Dahlbom having to interfere. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, MAFFIAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Arne Skålberg to maneuver through the defense. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. A sloppy throw-in by Patrik Zachrisson in the 36th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by France's Remy Dupuy. After some careless play in the MAFFIAN defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aron Dahlbom. The MAFFIAN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aron Dahlbom should have stopped the shot. MAFFIAN's Vincent Linberg got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, MAFFIAN's Stig-Arne Skålberg got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Andre Agassi might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxime Durand. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Andre Agassi ran back to his position shaking his head. The MAFFIAN players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. France were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Camille Baume hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 57 minutes into the match, MAFFIAN's goalkeeper Aron Dahlbom had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camille Baume. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Kristoffer Nyberg replaced Alf Säfström. MAFFIAN made a substitution. Alex Vallin replaced Greger Broberg. 60 minutes had been played when some careless play by MAFFIAN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. Pete Sampras struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Maxime Durand didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for MAFFIAN. When Andre Agassi came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the MAFFIAN fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Andre Agassi couldn't finish the play. France's attentive Remy Dupuy managed to snatch the ball when Stig-Arne Skålberg made a throw-in in the 72nd minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aron Dahlbom breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 80th match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Camille Baume to maneuver through the defense. MAFFIAN's Alex Vallin got a good chance for a goal in the 81st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th minute, Camille Baume ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aron Dahlbom was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 92nd match minute, France was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Peletier to maneuver through the defense. Stig-Arne Skålberg's late challenge caught a France's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Stig-Arne Skålberg helped the player get up and apologised. In the 95th minute, one of MAFFIAN:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for MAFFIAN.
