Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rene Houseman started the match with the kick off. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Alexis Bruneau hit a great ball. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Gianluca Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 11th minute. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience was convinced that Frank Peletier's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gianluca Buffon was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 27 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Rene Houseman came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice moves Dieguito Van Der Kuijlen could shoot a difficult shot in the 29th minute, which Maxime Durand however easily saved by the left post. Rene Houseman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 30th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The crowd rose to their feet as Rene Houseman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Maxime Durand. That made the score 1-0 in the 36 minute of play. Frank Peletier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gianluca Buffon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Peletier stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gianluca Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 56 minutes, Rene Houseman made it 3-0 with a short kick to the right side. France's Maxime Durand tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rene Houseman in the 60th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gianluca Buffon breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Roland Tolnay came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Camarón Bombay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roland Tolnay couldn't finish the play. Frank Peletier might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gianluca Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frank Peletier ran back to his position shaking his head. Camarón Bombay made a substitution. Aquilino Errapel replaced Rene Houseman. 71 minutes into the match, France's Frank Peletier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gianluca Buffon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by Camarón Bombay's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. David Barbier was slow to take the kick. During this time France's players had a chance to rest. France's Robert Chapuis was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Gianluca Buffon in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. After a defensive mix-up in Camarón Bombay's zone, Frank Peletier stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gianluca Buffon came out of the goal and Frank Peletier tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 83 minutes into the match, France's goal looked a bit too open when Aquilino Errapel came free, but Maxime Durand reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Peletier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Gianluca Buffon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88thth minute of the game Aquilino Errapel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but France's Maxime Durand was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Maxime Durand took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aquilino Errapel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Aquilino Errapel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Iggy Costacurta, made in the 93rd minute of the game. Camarón Bombay's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
