England's defense didn't have a chance, in the 17th minute, when Denver Ponta scored to the left of an out of position Khalid Kennedy, making the score, 1-0. In the 23rd match minute, DENVER™ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cleithon Minuhin to maneuver through the defense. In the 25th minute, Cooper Thompson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. DENVER™'s Alfredo Rezende couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 25th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for England. After a rather tough play, England's Cooper Thompson got a free kick in the 27th minute. In the 27th minute Nilmar Freitas suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. When Quinn Holmes fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored England's protests and gave Quinn Holmes a yellow card for diving instead. DENVER™ made a substitution. Guilherme Abud replaced Nilmar Freitas. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Quinn Holmes hit a great ball. DENVER™'s Nico Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Issac Dawson in the 31st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cleithon Minuhin in the 34th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute Micah Macdonald shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Furlan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cleithon Minuhin to make the kick off. DENVER™'s defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Kyle Cox scored to the left of an out of position Nico Furlan, making the score, 1-1. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Xavier Gallagher hit a great ball. Alfredo Rezende took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Khalid Kennedy. England's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Micah Macdonald sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guilherme Abud fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Khalid Kennedy having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Guilherme Abud came free, but Khalid Kennedy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 89 minutes, Caelan Hayes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the England and the DENVER™ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caelan Hayes kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute Cleithon Minuhin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Khalid Kennedy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guilherme Abud in the 94th minute of play. After having played for 95 minutes, Denver Ponta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. DENVER™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Denver Ponta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 96 minutes into the game, Cleithon Minuhin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Khalid Kennedy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The DENVER™ fans cheered their team off the field, for while England had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
