Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Recife, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Márcio de Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Issac Dawson in the 36th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Cido Recife kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 2-0 in the 37 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife got a free kick in the 40th minute. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Eddie Willis with Micah Macdonald as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cido Recife to strike the kick off in the second half. Samurai Champions FC's Cido Recife got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cido Recife in the 55th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 60th match minute, Samurai Champions FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cido Recife to maneuver through the defense. Samurai Champions FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Franklin do Nascimento was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A throw-in in the 83rd minute of the game was made by Leighton Davies with Issac Dawson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin do Nascimento in the 89th minute of play. Khalid Kennedy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Șerban Bărbânță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Samurai Champions FC fully deserved thier win.
