Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Gijsbert ter Kruimer started the match with the kick off. In the 8th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when David Eikelkamp came free, but Edinho Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 19 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Eusébio Orange came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Zico Orange's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnout Reekers was relentless in the 31st minute of the game. When the match clock showed 31 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Zico Orange sped through Netherlands's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Arnout Reekers. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edinho Pirani breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno-Henrique Orange didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zico Orange to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Pirani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a free kick in the 54th minute. Zico Orange scored 3-0 in the 60th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Lars Meesters ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Pirani was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Edinho Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Edinho Pirani played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 69th minute of play. Edinho Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Benedito Matorin was substituted for Eusébio Orange. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Tite Orange was substituted for Raí Orange. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Aldair Orange quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Kees Mooiweer, made in the 73rd minute of the game. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zico Orange, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 78thth minute of the game Zico Orange who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Netherlands's Arnout Reekers was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 81st minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. Edinho Pirani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 82nd minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a precise shot to the right of Edinho Pirani. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-4. Edinho Pirani didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score.
