The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benjamin Tino showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Beturian in the 15th minute of the match. When Black Sails's Berry Bliss in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lino Beturian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benjamin Tino having to make a save. Club El Progreso's Benjamin Tino played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Bingen in the 32nd minute of play. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Virgilio Bingen sped through Club El Progreso's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Benjamin Tino. Berry Bliss scored 0-2 in the 39th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Benjamin Tino, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Black Sails's Justino Hustaz proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Black Sails from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Berry Bliss made a kick off. Justino Hustaz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Indiana Jones in the 50th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Cleto Cordaro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Justino Hustaz was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. Richard Godholm kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Miguel Janpier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Justino Hustaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adolfo Federigo charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Justino Hustaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cleto Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Club El Progreso supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Black Sails's performance. The match ended with a win for Black Sails.
