Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, France's Camille Baume got a free kick in the 5th minute. If Camille Baume had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Camille Baume fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Rollins having to interfere. Roman Rollins stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frank Peletier's shot from short distance in the 21st minute. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ernie Dixon's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Boca Juniors's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Peletier came free, but Roman Rollins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Remy Dupuy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Roman Rollins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernie Dixon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxime Durand having to interfere. Quentin Bullard kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. France's Camille Baume got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Duncan Hendricks charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Duncan Hendricks the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Frank Peletier took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Roman Rollins. Roman Rollins dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. The supporters of France booed when Boca Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duncan Hendricks didn't get a good kick on the ball. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Ernie Dixon made the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Quentin Bullard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Maxence Durand hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Maxime Durand came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Ernie Dixon. But to his dismay, Ernie Dixon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Frank Peletier could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Roman Rollins made a huge save. Maxime Durand came out of the goal in the 67th minute to try and stop a shot by Boca Juniors's Ernie Dixon. But to his dismay, Ernie Dixon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Boca Juniors made a substitution. Tyrone Marrero replaced Ernie Dixon. Robert Chapuis hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Tyrone Marrero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Boca Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tyrone Marrero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Boca Juniors's Thanos Sapalidis got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Roman Rollins in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frank Peletier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Roman Rollins having to make a save. Frank Peletier struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Roman Rollins didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for France. Maxence Durand's late challenge caught a Boca Juniors's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Maxence Durand helped the player get up and apologised. 93 minutes into the game, Boca Juniors's Tyrone Marrero nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Maxime Durand made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Roman Rollins in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the France players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Boca Juniors.
