Italy's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dendi Ishutin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After taking down the ball on IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s corner Cayetano Pagomari fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Flavio Vittori quite easily take care of the ball. Octavian Jähnigen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 30 minutes IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Sigfrido Auletta almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but IpiráCity FC ✠⚓♡'s Octavian Jähnigen did a great save. The audience was convinced that Zaccheo Andolina's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Octavian Jähnigen was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. Porziano Marchitelli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Octavian Jähnigen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st match minute, Italy was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gomberto Picozzi to maneuver through the defense. When Siricio Liotta came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siricio Liotta couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Dendi Ishutin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off in the second half. Octavian Jähnigen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 51st minute.
