Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Adam Olaru took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 3rd minute, Adam Olaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 6th minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Estudiantes de América's Kraig Fred in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romania's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kraig Fred in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carol Stinga saved Romania from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Costica Vladimiri came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Estudiantes de América's Marcos Ranolfo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adam Olaru in the 15th minute of play. If Kraig Fred had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Carol Stinga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kraig Fred in the 18th minute of play. Kraig Fred could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. Romania's Carol Stinga proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Romania from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice moves Cornelio Ruisko could shoot a difficult shot in the 27th minute, which Carol Stinga however easily saved by the left post. Carol Stinga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kraig Fred, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Romania's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximo Dei was slow to take the kick. During this time Estudiantes de América's players had a chance to rest. Douglas Byström charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Douglas Byström the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Romania booed when Estudiantes de América was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Douglas Byström didn't get a good kick on the ball. Douglas Byström hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 39 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goal looked a bit too open when Rasvan Cristescu came free, but Marcos Ranolfo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, Rasvan Cristescu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Romania fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Marcos Ranolfo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 43rd minute of play. When Douglas Byström was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 43 minutes had been played. Douglas Byström hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Marcos Ranolfo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Romania were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kraig Fred was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alex Serban in the 52nd minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costica Vladimiri. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Olaru in the 62nd minute of play forced Estudiantes de América's goalkeeper Marcos Ranolfo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute of the match Romania got a corner. Estudiantes de América's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Olaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Romania's corner Cosmin Barbulescu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Marcos Ranolfo quite easily take care of the ball. Romania made a substitution. Anton Stinga replaced Adam Olaru. Romania's Octavian Vaduva was substituted for Costica Vladimiri. In the 76th minute Octavian Vaduva shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Ranolfo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 88th minute, Rasvan Cristescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Ranolfo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Rasvan Cristescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Ranolfo having to interfere. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Trasatti in the 93rd minute of the match. In the 94th minute, Maximo Dei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Anton Stinga cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Marcos Ranolfo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the final whistle sounded Romania left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Estudiantes de América.
