Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Vicky Donda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felipe Barreto in the 24th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tord Söderqvist in the 26th minute. In the 28th minute Felipe Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Vicky Donda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vicky Donda showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felipe Barreto, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 35th minute of play forced ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Vicky Donda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 36th minute of the match Portugal got a corner. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Felipe Barreto ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Portugal's corner Felipe Barreto fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vicky Donda quite easily take care of the ball. Vicky Donda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 41st minute of the match. If Tord Söderqvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Tord Söderqvist got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tord Söderqvist to make the kick off. In the 54th minute, Tord Söderqvist made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. Tord Söderqvist struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Wilson Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ. Vicky Donda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 61st minute of play. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Vicky Donda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 62nd minute of play. Felipinho Amorim got the audience’s attention when, from a short distance, he fired away a great shot in the 82nd minute of the game. The shot hit the left post and bounced out. In the 88th minute Felipinho Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vicky Donda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabricio Andrade didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felipinho Amorim got free with Vicky Donda in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's Vicky Donda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 94th minute of play. 96 minutes into the match, ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ's goalkeeper Vicky Donda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim. ᴡɪʟᴅᴇxʜᴀᴍ ꜰᴄ were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
