Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicky Stapleton took the kick off in the first half of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. In the 5th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albin Holweck to maneuver through the defense. Tyrone Fowler showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Sachs in the 14th minute of the match. The corner ended in Malte Schiele almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Charles Town's Tyrone Fowler did a great save. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Nicky Stapleton sent off a good shot on target. Adrian Dreifuss received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Tyrone Fowler tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luca Agachi got free with Tommy Kahn in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Charles Town's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Paşa Işıklı in the 31st minute. Șerban Balaban's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Șerban Balaban helped the player get up and apologised. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Dante in the 42nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sean Egan got free with Tommy Kahn in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Malte Schiele hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. A hard shot by Paşa Işıklı from long distance, 46 minutes into the match, got Tommy Kahn's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tommy Kahn made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Nicky Stapleton sent off a good shot on target. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

After 57 minutes, Chris Mergenthaler mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Germany and the Charles Town players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Germany's Chris Mergenthaler got a free kick in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute, Nicky Stapleton ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Luca Agachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Charles Town's Moises Baltazar was substituted for Jose Manuel Adan. Sean Egan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicky Stapleton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sean Egan in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Nicky Stapleton had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nicky Stapleton was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Charles Town's Sid Gentry was substituted for Sean Egan. Charles Town's Nicky Stapleton got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Dante in the 80th minute of play. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sid Gentry, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. After 89 played minutes Charles Town got a freekick which was hit by Joshua Farrell. After a defensive mix-up in Charles Town's zone, Frank Sachs stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tyrone Fowler came out of the goal and Frank Sachs tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Charles Town players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
