Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Zaccheo Andolina made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Through an outstanding action, after 10 minutes, Flavio Vittori successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeremy Nicholas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Porziano Marchitelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, Porziano Marchitelli notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas. Jeremy Nicholas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Silva in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Jeremy Nicholas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. 22 minutes into the match, New England Minas's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Jeremy Nicholas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. In the 26th minute, Zaccheo Andolina ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jeremy Nicholas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgardo Silva in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavio Vittori saved Italy from getting behind. Zaccheo Andolina might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jeremy Nicholas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zaccheo Andolina ran back to his position shaking his head. Jeremy Nicholas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to New England Minas getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Ye Gang Cheng hit a great ball. 36 minutes into the game, Italy's Porziano Marchitelli nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jeremy Nicholas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. 38 minutes into the match, Italy's Zaccheo Andolina sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jeremy Nicholas narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. The New England Minas players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edgardo Silva to strike the kick off in the second half. Siricio Liotta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeremy Nicholas having to interfere. 54 minutes into the game, Edgardo Silva cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Flavio Vittori was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 57 minutes, Edgardo Silva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New England Minas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Silva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. New England Minas's Hipolito Emenon was substituted for Jörgen Frohm. New England Minas made a substitution. Emmitt Benson replaced Alperen Öksüz. New England Minas's Tio Lio was substituted for Edgardo Silva. Jeremy Nicholas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 70th minute. Siricio Liotta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 73rdth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save New England Minas from getting a goal against them. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jeremy Nicholas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. After a rather tough play, New England Minas's Ye Gang Cheng got a free kick in the 84th minute. In the 91st minute Tio Lio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 minutes of play, New England Minas's Tio Lio made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Flavio Vittori was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Italy supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Italy would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
