Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ivan Bortzaioriz's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Bortzaioriz helped the player get up and apologised. Ivan Bortzaioriz hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Urbano Reyes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. When the match had gone on for 17 minutes, Chris Nygaard put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Urbano Reyes. In the 20th minute, Amado Feliu made a precise shot to the right of Keld Paulsen. Denmark's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Corazuli's Amado Feliu got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bertram Svenningsen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Urbano Reyes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. The throw-in from Gaston Urritz in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Olav Graversen. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denmark's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jonathan Iban was slow to take the kick. During this time Corazuli's players had a chance to rest. Jonathan Iban made a great header on Corazuli's corner, it was just that Denmark's Keld Paulsen managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chris Nygaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the game, Theis Winther was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Denmark's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Corazuli the free kick. In the 44th match minute, Denmark was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Theis Winther to maneuver through the defense. The throw-in from Gaston Urritz in the 46th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Denmark's Theis Winther. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Chris Nygaard made the kick off in the second half. Chris Nygaards short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Urbano Reyes to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Bortzaioriz in the 66th minute of play. Denmark's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Chris Nygaard in the 70th minute. Amado Feliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Corazuli made a substitution. Luís Salmeron replaced Bosse Houth. Amado Feliu charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Amado Feliu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Amado Feliu hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 78 minutes into the match, Corazuli's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Urbano Reyes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 83 played minutes Corazuli got a freekick which was hit by Luís Salmeron. In the 90th minute, Leandro Elizardo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 91 minutes into the match, Denmark's Chris Nygaard broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Corazuli's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
