All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Elias Batista made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Didi Tróia managed to avoid a goal in the 55thth minute, when Cometuétano's Antoni Paris fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Antoni Pariss short, quick shot in the 55thth minute got Didi Tróia to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 58 minutes into the match, Elias Batista had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Belarmo Sánchez. Cometuétano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Elias Batista was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0.
