Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Omar Toledo started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Geovanildo Luis had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Spain's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanildo Luis was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Adhemar Santos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Haji Sarap took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Karsten Ulbak, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. The corner led to Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Omar Toledo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haji Sarap read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Omar Toledo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Joinville City - FSCMZ's Haji Sarap. Haji Sarap was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Abraão in the 31st minute of the match. Mbaka N'Diaye kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Haji Sarap showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Spain from getting a goal against them. In the 39th minute Omar Toledo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Haji Sarap saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. David Aranda hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Adhemar Santos came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanildo Luis got free with Gabriel Ascaso in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 44th minute of the match, Adhemar Santos got a very nice opportunity to score, but Gabriel Ascaso was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 45th minute the ball was on its way in behind Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horácio Abraão in the 53rd minute of play. Geovanildo Luis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Joinville City - FSCMZ's zone, Adria Bielsa stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Haji Sarap came out of the goal and Adria Bielsa tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horácio Abraão in the 63rd minute of play. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Joinville City - FSCMZ's Horácio Abraão. But to his dismay, Horácio Abraão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Joinville City - FSCMZ's Cássio de Andrade was substituted for Mbaka N'Diaye. Joinville City - FSCMZ's João Francisco Arce was substituted for Adhemar Santos. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geovanildo Luis in the 68th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joinville City - FSCMZ were awarded a corner in the 69th minute after Spain's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tomé Neto took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed João Francisco Arce to score against Gabriel Ascaso in Spain's goal. 3-1 after 70 minutes. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Gabriel Ascaso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Francisco Arce, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanildo Luis in the 80th minute of play. Haji Sarap made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carles Cherro in the 81st minute. Carles Cherro spun around in front of the goal 81 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Joinville City - FSCMZ's goal. Spain made a substitution. Pau Herrero replaced David Aranda. In the 86th minute, Spain's Pau Herrero dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-2. Geovanildo Luis hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. When Spain's Sergio Ruiz in the 94th minute got a chance for a shot 94th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Joinville City - FSCMZ's goalie prevented a goal. Joinville City - FSCMZ succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Spain had controlled the match.
