Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Metod Mlynar got the match started through his kick off. After a rather tough play, Wils FC's Roland Pluijssens got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Henrich Slany took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Harald De Messemaeckre, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Zigmund Maliar hit a great ball. After having played for 14 minutes, Edwin Koppen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wils FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Edwin Koppen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Metod Mlynar in the 20th minute of play forced Wils FC's goalkeeper Andreas Frans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Etienne Van Achteren came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Wils FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Etienne Van Achteren couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Slovakia's zone, Lorenz Van Deijck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Henrich Slany came out of the goal and Lorenz Van Deijck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Etienne Van Achteren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Slovakia's goalie prevented a goal. Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36th minute Claus Van Dijck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andreas Frans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Metod Mlynar in the 38th minute of the match. Edwin Koppen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Henrich Slany tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Wils FC's Etienne Van Achteren sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Henrich Slany narrowly saved just below the crossbar. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Edwin Koppen made the kick off in the second half. Etienne Van Achteren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Etienne Van Achteren kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Henrich Slany came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Wils FC's Edwin Koppen. But to his dismay, Edwin Koppen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. Metod Mlynar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Andreas Frans read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Slovakia's Stefan Havel got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Henrich Slany showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Etienne Van Achteren in the 64th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Etienne Van Achteren shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald De Messemaeckre in the 67th minute of play forced Slovakia's goalkeeper Henrich Slany to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Slovakia defense, Edwin Koppen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Henrich Slany. The Slovakia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Henrich Slany should have stopped the shot. Edwin Koppen took the ball and in the 72 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Stefan Havel hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Etienne Van Achteren cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 8-0. Henrich Slany was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After 79 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Zigmund Maliar. Oliver Holub's late challenge caught a Wils FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Oliver Holub helped the player get up and apologised. After 81 played minutes Slovakia got a freekick which was hit by Oliver Holub. In the 82nd minute Edwin Koppen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henrich Slany saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Etienne Van Achteren took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Henrich Slany. Henrich Slany dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Etienne Van Achteren sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
