With a left leg Fodor Daniel saved Hungary from getting behind. Astor Efren came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Major Barna. But to his dismay, Major Barna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Yupandú FC defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Astor Efren. The Yupandú FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Astor Efren should have stopped the shot. Astor Efren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hegedus Henrik, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gwidon Michalski got free with Fodor Daniel in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Delmiro Frutos in the 41st minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nemesio Cordaryal struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yupandú FC. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Miguel Rivas hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 55th minute, Hegedus Henrik ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Astor Efren was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Astor Efren made an important save on a dangerous shot by Major Barna in the 59th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Yupandú FC's Nemesio Cordaryal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner ended in Eloy Betadur almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Hungary's Fodor Daniel did a great save. Yupandú FC's Everardo Emesto was substituted for Gwidon Michalski. Yupandú FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eloy Betadur in the 75th minute. The corner led to Yupandú FC's Marcelino Enaut getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Astor Efren in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The audience thought a goal was coming when Balazs Lajos got free with Astor Efren in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 82 minutes, Balazs Lajos made it 0-5 with a short kick to the right side. Yupandú FC's Astor Efren tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yupandú FC's Astor Efren played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Major Barna in the 87th minute of play. If Delmiro Frutos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Yupandú FC's Astor Efren got control of the ball when Antal Valentin tried to sneak it across the goal line. A hard shot 92 in the game by Antal Valentin from a close distance when the talented Astor Efren managed to make a qualified save. Yupandú FC's players were relieved. Yupandú FC's Astor Efren proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Yupandú FC from getting a goal against them. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
