Arnout Reekers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bento Chandeiro in the 19th minute. Beat Vid showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 45th minute of the match. In the 46th minute of the game Gust Ennemans made a throw-in which Gustaaf Groeneveldt played forward.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bento Chandeiro in the 63rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 64th minute, Bento Chandeiro made a precise shot to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Bento Chandeiro kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Beat Vid made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. Beat Vid showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wim Wilmes, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. If Anton Axelsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The long shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 90th minute really tested Beat Vid's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Aioros FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Netherlands had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
