After taking down the ball on C. A. Pipon Pipon's corner Al Whatley fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Emil Turek quite easily take care of the ball. In the 5th minute Michel Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 8thth minute of the game Francesco Figueroa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's Emil Turek was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's Edmundo Basso got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Tavares in the 15th minute of play. Nicky Bryson's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Emil Turek firmly grabbed it by the left post. Nicky Brysons short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Emil Turek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 22nd minute Michel Rodrigues shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jannes Ruttens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Belmiro Vinhas in the 23rd minute of play. Nicky Brysons short, quick shot in the 24thth minute got Emil Turek to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Jannes Ruttens took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Basso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emil Turek was a little too slow when Nicky Bryson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 28th minute. The score was now 1-0. 32 minutes into the match, C. A. Pipon Pipon's goal looked a bit too open when Betão Tavares came free, but Jannes Ruttens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 36th minute Betão Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jannes Ruttens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 36th match minute, PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bumin Mustafa to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 37 minutes, Al Whatley managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. C. A. Pipon Pipon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Al Whatley was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The C. A. Pipon Pipon fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when C. A. Pipon Pipon's Francesco Figueroa looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmundo Basso, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. The supporters of C. A. Pipon Pipon booed when PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bumin Mustafa didn't get a good kick on the ball.
Belmiro Vinhas's late challenge caught a C. A. Pipon Pipon's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Belmiro Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belmiro Vinhas to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Al Whatley in the 52nd minute of play forced PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's goalkeeper Emil Turek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jannes Ruttens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Betão Tavares, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Emil Turek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malcolm McIntosh in the 73rd minute of the match. Emil Turek made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pepe Rompel in the 74th minute of play. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES's goalkeeper Emil Turek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. With a little luck, C. A. Pipon Pipon's Jannes Ruttens got control of the ball when Edmundo Basso tried to sneak it across the goal line. C. A. Pipon Pipon made a substitution. Merlin Riley replaced Cesario Irazu. Emil Turek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Malcolm McIntosh, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Merlin Riley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nicky Bryson in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emil Turek saved PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES from getting behind. The supporters of PÉROLA CRISTAL - ES booed when C. A. Pipon Pipon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Al Whatley didn't get a good kick on the ball.
