Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Martin Palermo got the match started through his kick off. Ruben Sánchez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 18th minute of play. 21 minutes had been played when some careless play by Magic is Back's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Antal Valentin was slow to take the kick. During this time Hungary's players had a chance to rest. In the 22nd minute of the match Hungary got a corner. Magic is Back's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antal Valentin ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 22nd minute, Boros Benedek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Katona Janos. In the 24th match minute, Magic is Back was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudio Marangoni to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Martin Palermo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Magic is Back's supporters rose to their feet, but Martin Palermo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Roberto Rogel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A throw-in in the 32nd minute of the game was made by Bakos Endre with Balazs Lajos as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After some careless play in the Magic is Back defense, Major Barna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ruben Sánchez. The Magic is Back fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ruben Sánchez should have stopped the shot. 39 minutes into the match, Martin Palermo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fodor Daniel, 2-1. Martin Palermo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. With his leg Fodor Daniel managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Magic is Back's Martin Palermo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ruben Sánchez came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

53 minutes into the match, Magic is Back's goalkeeper Ruben Sánchez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. In the 61st minute, Sebastián Battaglia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Magic is Back's Roberto Mouzo was substituted for Roland Schiavi. Magic is Back's Ruben Sánchez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Magic is Back from getting a goal against them. Ruben Sánchez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antal Valentin in the 64th minute. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ruben Sánchez having to interfere.
