One of Galati Harbour Cats:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Germany:s goal. After some careless play in the Galati Harbour Cats defense, Frank Sachs kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Octavian Soare. The Galati Harbour Cats fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Octavian Soare should have stopped the shot. Germany's defense didn't have a chance, in the 12th minute, when Shi Li scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Kahn, making the score, 1-1. Albin Holweck's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octavian Soare read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. 17 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shi Li. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Sticlaru in the 19th minute of the match. Germany's Tommy Kahn proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Germany from getting a goal against them. Ovidiu Pandrea made in the 22nd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Germany's Albin Holweck. Tommy Kahn was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Shi Li capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Shi Li really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 30 played minutes Galati Harbour Cats got a freekick which was hit by Antoni Dembkowski. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 32nd minute of the match. After taking down the ball on Galati Harbour Cats's corner Shi Li fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Tommy Kahn quite easily take care of the ball. Adrian Dreifuss's late challenge caught a Galati Harbour Cats's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adrian Dreifuss helped the player get up and apologised. After 35 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Adrian Dreifuss. In the 39th minute Albin Holweck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Octavian Soare saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Shi Li came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shi Li in the 69th minute of the match. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shi Li, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, Shi Li made a precise shot to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Albin Holweck in the 95th minute of play forced Galati Harbour Cats's goalkeeper Octavian Soare to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Galati Harbour Cats's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
