Thanks to some nice moves Feliks Sikola could shoot a difficult shot in the 3rd minute, which Keld Paulsen however easily saved by the left post. 4 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Aloísio Lima came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Armando Larizza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. Bjarne Kirkegaard recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuele Monzeglio hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. A collision led to OldHighburyInvincibles getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Emanuele Monzeglio hit a great ball. Simon Bendtsen kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Aloísio Lima recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 16 minutes in the game Eraldo Pierdomenico did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Emanuele Monzeglio. Armando Larizza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 18th minute of play. 19 minutes had been played when some careless play by OldHighburyInvincibles's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Denmark's Simon Bendtsen getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After some careless play in the Denmark defense, Hasan Hüseyin Taycan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. The Denmark fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Keld Paulsen should have stopped the shot. Hasan Hüseyin Taycan took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. OldHighburyInvincibles's Feliks Sikola got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Denmark's Keld Paulsen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hasan Hüseyin Taycan in the 33rd minute of play. Hasan Hüseyin Taycan took the ball and in the 33 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Keld Paulsen. Keld Paulsen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Armando Larizza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Keld Paulsen stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Aloísio Lima's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. The audience was convinced that Aloísio Lima's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernandinho Trancoso in the 43rd minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the match, Hasan Hüseyin Taycan dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Keld Paulsen, 4-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Chris Nygaard to make the kick off. In the 56thth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OldHighburyInvincibles's Armando Larizza was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lars Steen's late challenge caught a OldHighburyInvincibles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lars Steen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, OldHighburyInvincibles's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Armando Larizza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the game, Mikkel Wulff cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. Armando Larizza was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Lima in the 78th minute of play forced Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aloísio Lima scored 5-1 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Keld Paulsen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Many of Denmark's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Denmark may have spent more time on the ball, but OldHighburyInvincibles were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
