Edu Gaspar was slow to take the kick. During this time Puerto de Sagunto CF's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Puerto de Sagunto CF's corner Edu Gaspar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Casper Claes quite easily take care of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Richmond Van Glabeeke came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Francisco José Millán. The supporters of Belgium booed when Puerto de Sagunto CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frans Beckenbauer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gong Yong Nan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 34th minute of the match. In the 36th minute Richmond Van Glabeeke shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 38th minute Edward Vanderstraeten shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gong Yong Nan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Richmond Van Glabeeke's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Puerto de Sagunto CF were awarded a corner. Edu Gaspar went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Puerto de Sagunto CF's Florentino Checa to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Casper Claes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco José Millán went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Florentino Checa's late challenge caught a Belgium's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Florentino Checa helped the player get up and apologised. Belgium's Aaron Decoster was substituted for Simon Sabbe. In the 59th minute, Florentino Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richmond Van Glabeeke in the 62nd minute of the match. Puerto de Sagunto CF were furious when Lawrence Manrique was red carded, 68 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Puerto de Sagunto CF made a substitution. Doroteo Astudillo replaced Florentino Checa. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Sherman Valentin was substituted for Edu Gaspar. 68 minutes into the game, one of Puerto de Sagunto CF:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gong Yong Nan had in the 70thth minute some difficulties stopping Edward Vanderstraeten's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. A nice corner shot did that Edward Vanderstraeten got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gong Yong Nan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco José Millán in the 74th minute of the match. Gong Yong Nan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Dervaux in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco José Millán in the 84th minute of play forced Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Puerto de Sagunto CF's Gong Yong Nan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Dervaux in the 92nd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Belgium's zone, Francisco José Millán stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Casper Claes came out of the goal and Francisco José Millán tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Puerto de Sagunto CF's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
