Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Frank Sachs made the kick off which started today's match. 3 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Neville Byrnes came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Janik Vogt hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Mo Salah recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Mo Salah. After 17 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. In the 19th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ray Clemence saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Ray Clemence reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mo Salah, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute Mo Salah shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Germany's Tommy Kahn got control of the ball when Neville Byrnes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Manly FC's Neville Byrnes dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. 37 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mo Salah. With an all-out effort, Manly FC's Tommy Kahn threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mo Salah, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Janik Vogt didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clifford Hamilton's late challenge caught a Germany's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clifford Hamilton helped the player get up and apologised. After 46 played minutes Manly FC got a freekick which was hit by Clifford Hamilton.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mo Salah to make the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mo Salah in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. John Aldridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. When the match clock showed 59 minutes, the score became 3-0 when Neville Byrnes sped through Germany's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tommy Kahn. Neville Byrnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Albin Holweck got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sven Krakouer kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 72nd minute, Neville Byrnes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The corner led Germany's Frank Sachs to fire away a dangerous shot which Ray Clemence despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carmichael Carbery in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 80th minute, Carmichael Carbery left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 84 played minutes Germany got a freekick which was hit by Willy Stieler. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mo Salah in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tommy Kahn saved Germany from getting behind. In the 88th minute, Neville Byrnes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Manly FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Manly FC's Mo Salah got a good chance for a goal in the 93rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There was no doubt that Manly FC were the better team. Manly FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
