Edward Preston made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. The referee felt a red card was in order, 12 minutes into the game, when Eustacio Naike put in a rough tackle. Racing Club's Valentin Ibon was substituted for Americo Senio. 11 minutes into the game, one of Racing Club:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Franz Hardcastle shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Gonzalo Tebaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Partridge, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jay Palmer during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Edward Preston showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Domingos Gonsalve in the 21st minute of the match. Racing Club's Gonzalo Tebaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Racing Club from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pete Partridge in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gonzalo Tebaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Silvestre Mundo in the 27th minute of play forced Egg Chasers FC's goalkeeper Edward Preston to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Egg Chasers FC's Franz Hardcastle got a free kick in the 29th minute. Domingos Gonsalve took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edward Preston. Edward Preston dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Billie Curtis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Gonzalo Tebaldo made a huge save. Racing Club's Uriel Manex was substituted for Francisco Bieito. After 39 played minutes Egg Chasers FC got a freekick which was hit by Don Major. Edward Preston made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Domingos Gonsalve in the 40th minute of play. Bradley Blueman hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Gonzalo Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jay Palmer in the 48th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silvestre Mundo made a kick off. Gonzalo Tebaldo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pete Partridge, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Gonzalo Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Partridge in the 60th minute of play. Egg Chasers FC's Jay Palmer got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 66 minutes into the game, Bradley Blueman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Gonzalo Tebaldo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 71st match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Ibon to maneuver through the defense. 72 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Curtis came free, but Gonzalo Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celedonio Endira hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 75 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Bradley Blueman came free, but Gonzalo Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gonzalo Tebaldo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Celedonio Endira got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 86th minute, Uriel Manex hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 88 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Billie Curtis came free, but Gonzalo Tebaldo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Silvestre Mundo hit a great ball. Gonzalo Tebaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bradley Blueman in the 93rd minute of play. After having played for 97 minutes, Celedonio Endira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Racing Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celedonio Endira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
Racing Club's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
