The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Germany booed when ARON FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albertinho Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sebastião Xavier. In the 25th minute of the match ARON FC got a corner. Germany's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maicon Viana ran over to the corner to take the kick. After 25 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Rafinha Gomes. Ulrich Stein hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. A hard shot 32 in the game by Sebastião Xavier from a close distance when the talented Tommy Kahn managed to make a qualified save. Germany's players were relieved. Albertinho Machado was shown his second yellow card after 36 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 36 played minutes ARON FC got a freekick which was hit by Albertinho Machado. ARON FC's Luís Fabiano Vaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Holweck in the 38th minute of play. In the 45th minute, Frank Sachs left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Germany fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edu Proença made a kick off. Maicon Viana scored 2-1 in the 51st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tommy Kahn, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 58 minutes into the match, Edu Proença had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tommy Kahn. Germany's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edu Proença was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 63 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Luís Fabiano Vaz. Frank Sachs showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. In the 69th minute Frank Sachs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luís Fabiano Vaz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ARON FC's Edu Proença got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind ARON FC's goalkeeper Luís Fabiano Vaz, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edu Proença in the 81st minute of the match. ARON FC's Manuel Bueno was substituted for Maicon Viana. Oséas Rosa made a great header on ARON FC's corner, it was just that Germany's Tommy Kahn managed to reach the ball for a save. If Albin Holweck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edu Proença in the 90th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, ARON FC's Ennu Roosileht made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tommy Kahn was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edu Proença fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ARON FC fully deserved thier win.
