Davi Silva came out of the goal and Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gust Ennemans in the 26th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Abandon All Hope's Arvin Hallgren. Davi Silva stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gustaaf Groeneveldt's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. 31 minutes into the match, David Eikelkamp had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Davi Silva. Abandon All Hope's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that David Eikelkamp was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After a rather tough play, Abandon All Hope's Dario Llope got a free kick in the 34th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Davi Silva didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Gwidon Cwojdak received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arnout Reekers came out and tried to block the shot, but Gwidon Cwojdak slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 39th minute. With an all-out effort, Abandon All Hope's Arnout Reekers threw himself towards the right post 43 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kryspin Robak, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Jedrzej Debowy hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Gwidon Cwojdak charged in rather forcefully in the 48th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gwidon Cwojdak the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 48 minutes into the game, one of Abandon All Hope:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gwidon Cwojdak to make the kick off. Abandon All Hope's Davi Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 54th minute of play. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kryspin Robak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 60 minutes into the match, Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Davi Silva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt. After 62 minutes Abandon All Hope's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. At last the ball reached Lars Meesters at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Abandon All Hope. 1-5. After a rather tough play, Abandon All Hope's Kryspin Robak got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 68th minute, Dario Llope hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wim Wilmes got free with Davi Silva in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 73 minutes Abandon All Hope's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a great header on Netherlands's corner, it was just that Abandon All Hope's Davi Silva managed to reach the ball for a save. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 80 minutes, Valeh Cerda mouthed his way into the referee's book. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 98th minute of play forced Abandon All Hope's goalkeeper Davi Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match was over Netherlands could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Abandon All Hope throughout the match.
