Jake Kitchen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Holweck, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Earle Hollis hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Jake Kitchen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Sachs, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. When Germany's Frank Sachs in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Moose FC's goalie prevented a goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Norberto Ott during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Moose FC got a freekick which was hit by Norberto Ott. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Jake Kitchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. The supporters of Moose FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Albin Holweck didn't get a good kick on the ball. Abel Jacques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. 37 minutes into the game, Frank Sachs was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Germany's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Moose FC the free kick. In the 37th match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Frank Sachs to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Moose FC's Earle Hollis ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Frank Sachs struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Jake Kitchen didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Germany. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Abel Jacques took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tommy Kahn. Tommy Kahn dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Mitch Marleau kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Germany was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrian Dreifuss to maneuver through the defense. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Jacques, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 66th minute, Albin Holweck managed to get in a good position for a shot. Germany's supporters rose to their feet, but Albin Holweck was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jake Kitchen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 67 played minutes Moose FC got a freekick which was hit by Mitch Marleau. Jimmie Ogden got a throw-in 69 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abel Jacques. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Weiss in the 71st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Isaias Weiss came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moose FC's Jake Kitchen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frank Sachs in the 80th minute of play. Albin Holweck sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Moose FC's goal looked a bit too open when Frank Sachs came free, but Jake Kitchen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Moose FC booed when Germany was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Malte Schiele didn't get a good kick on the ball. Frank Sachs who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 90thth minute tested the skills of Jake Kitchen when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 96th minute, Germany's Frank Sachs dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Moose FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Germany had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
