After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Leonard Treppa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tirant lo Blanch's supporters rose to their feet, but Leonard Treppa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 15 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Fabricio Andrade. 21 minutes into the match, Leonard Treppa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Tirant lo Blanch from getting a goal against them. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 52nd minute. The corner ended in Viriato Moura almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Tirant lo Blanch's Kamal Pahlevi did a great save. In the 53rd minute, Sergi Baeza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 57th minute, Viriato Moura ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kamal Pahlevi was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-5. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leonard Treppa went, in the 66th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-5 was the resulting score. Portugal made a substitution. Bartolomeu Dias replaced Viriato Moura. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leonard Treppa in the 70th minute of play. Felipinho Amorim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Kamal Pahlevi made a huge save.
