Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Michael Guisla got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, Spain was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Criado to maneuver through the defense. Fred Åkerström recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gamus Rocha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gabriel Ascaso having to interfere. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Spain's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Omar Toledo in the 9th minute. A nice corner shot did that Enrique Rabellino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Zé Roberto Teixeira quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omar Toledo in the 15th minute of play forced Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute, Omar Toledo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zé Roberto Teixeira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. The audience was convinced that Adria Bielsa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Zé Roberto Teixeira was relentless in the 27th minute of the game. In the 29th minute, David Aranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 31st minute Fred Åkerström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If David Aranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zé Roberto Teixeira showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 34th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Fred Åkerström put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. Zé Roberto Teixeira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adria Bielsa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gamus Rocha hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Omar Toledo was the one to do the kick off. Zé Roberto Teixeira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adria Bielsa in the 51st minute of play. Spain were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Playa Malvín's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Omar Toledo took the corner. In the 53rd minute of the match Spain got a corner. Playa Malvín's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Omar Toledo ran over to the corner to take the kick. Playa Malvín's Josu Onez was substituted for Zuberoa Artiaga. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 66th minute, but Zé Roberto Teixeira got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Playa Malvín hanging dry this time. Michael Guisla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gabriel Ascaso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Spain defense, Michael Guisla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Gabriel Ascaso. The Spain fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Gabriel Ascaso should have stopped the shot. Spain made a substitution. Carles Cherro replaced Omar Toledo. In the 76th minute Michael Guisla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gabriel Ascaso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gamus Rocha in the 77th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Zé Roberto Teixeira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Carles Cherro. Spain's Pau Herrero was substituted for David Aranda. Carles Cherro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Zé Roberto Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Playa Malvín's Jabier Igual managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Jonathan Criado in the 85 minute of the game. Gabriel Ascaso came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Playa Malvín's Niva Espellosa. But to his dismay, Niva Espellosa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Carles Cherros short, quick shot in the 92ndth minute got Zé Roberto Teixeira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in.
