Italy's Zena Busacca quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 24th minute of play forced Twierdza Osowiec's goalkeeper Ricardo Hendrickx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 29 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx. Ricardo Hendrickx was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Flavio Vittori breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Twierdza Osowiec's Kartal Başar got a good chance for a goal in the 43rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zaccheo Andolina in the 45th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ricardo Hendrickx saved Twierdza Osowiec from getting behind. After the first half Italy were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Eliseo Cutri got a throw-in 51 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Gianpaolo Mascari. After a rather tough play, Italy's Zena Busacca got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Pepo Orihuela took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 53rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Flavio Vittori. Italy's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 53rd minute, Sostene Vitulli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 55 played minutes Twierdza Osowiec got a freekick which was hit by Jaap Stam. In the 56thth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Twierdza Osowiec's Ricardo Hendrickx was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 56th play minutes Zaccheo Andolina shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Ricardo Hendrickx and just under the crossbar into goal. After 61 minutes, Nils Daniels mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Twierdza Osowiec and the Italy players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice moves Porziano Marchitelli could shoot a difficult shot in the 69th minute, which Ricardo Hendrickx however easily saved by the left post. Twierdza Osowiec's defense didn't have a chance, in the 69th minute, when Porziano Marchitelli scored to the left of an out of position Ricardo Hendrickx, making the score, 0-3. The supporters of Twierdza Osowiec booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Porziano Marchitelli didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Porziano Marchitelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Flavio Vittori didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mili Martin went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ricardo Hendrickx took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. A collision led to Twierdza Osowiec getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Nils Daniels hit a great ball. Pepo Orihuela kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Flavio Vittori showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joško Van Landschoot, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. 93 minutes into the match, Adriano Curto dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ricardo Hendrickx, 1-4. Ricardo Hendrickx stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adriano Curto's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. The Twierdza Osowiec fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Italy were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
