Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Alejandro Jerrald got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Katona Janos hit a great ball. After 6 played minutes Club Atletico Rio Tercero got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Jerrald. When the match had gone on for 14 minutes, Alejandro Jerrald took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Fodor Daniel to make any attempt to save it. Jacobo Mark fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Rio Tercero's zone, Antal Valentin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alvar Öberg came out of the goal and Antal Valentin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Alvar Öberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of play. Antal Valentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Alvar Öberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 38th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvar Öberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna struck a weak shot in the 45th minute. Alvar Öberg didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. Alvar Öberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Takacs Tibor in the 48th minute of the match. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. 57 minutes into the match, Alejandro Jerrald had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Alejandro Jerrald was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. If Saturnino Rubio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 68 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Alejandro Jerrald came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 72 minutes into the match, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's goalkeeper Alvar Öberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antal Valentin. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Alvar Öberg in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alvar Öberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 80 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Bakos Endre. After 81 minutes of play, Club Atletico Rio Tercero's Jacobo Mark made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fodor Daniel was left in no man's land by his defense there! Jacobo Mark sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Hungary booed when Club Atletico Rio Tercero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcelo Eladio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match Antal Valentin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alvar Öberg showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Alvar Öberg was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Antal Valentin capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Antal Valentin really showed his touch with that goal: 3-1. Antal Valentin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hungary's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
