After taking down the ball on Fire Breathers FC's corner Ander Mees fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ilkka Markkula quite easily take care of the ball. Ciano Trasloseros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Ilkka Markkula made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ciano Trasloseros got free with Ilkka Markkula in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ciano Trasloseros received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilkka Markkula came out and tried to block the shot, but Ciano Trasloseros slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 17th minute. The throw-in from Iratze Rojica in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Gilberto Sandoval. 23 minutes in the game Iratze Rojica did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ander Mees. Ilkka Markkula showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciano Trasloseros, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. With a little luck, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's Ilkka Markkula got control of the ball when Ciano Trasloseros tried to sneak it across the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Yan Zhi Chuan made the kick off in the second half. Zavier Wagner took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yan Zhi Chuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ilkka Markkula came out of the goal and Teodovico Javia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
