Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zaccheo Andolina in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nildo Lara prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes America Futebol Clube SP's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sigfrido Auletta who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Italy's Eliseo Cutri to a score. 0-2 in the 13th minute. Zaccheo Andolina sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Lara having to interfere. Nildo Lara stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zaccheo Andolina's shot from short distance in the 24th minute. The Italy fans' excitement grew in the 24th match minute when Italy's Zaccheo Andolina looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot. Italy's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaccheo Andolina was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Lara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Nildo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nildo Lara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32ndth minute of the game Zaccheo Andolina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but America Futebol Clube SP's Nildo Lara was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Nildo Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-4 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nildo Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute Siricio Liotta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nildo Lara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nildo Lara showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 46th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 59th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Nildo Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zaccheo Andolina scored 0-6 in the 61st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nildo Lara, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Italy's attentive Siricio Liotta managed to snatch the ball when Juan do Vale made a throw-in in the 69th minute of the game. After taking down the ball on Italy's corner Siricio Liotta fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nildo Lara quite easily take care of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 74th minute of play forced America Futebol Clube SP's goalkeeper Nildo Lara to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigfrido Auletta took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nildo Lara. Nildo Lara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. Nildo Lara made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 80th minute. Siricio Liotta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Nildo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Italy's Sansone Vanella was substituted for Gianpaolo Mascari. Italy's Adriano Curto was substituted for Zaccheo Andolina. With a little luck, America Futebol Clube SP's Nildo Lara got control of the ball when Porziano Marchitelli tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes had been played when some careless play by America Futebol Clube SP's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Siricio Liotta was slow to take the kick. During this time Italy's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of America Futebol Clube SP's goalie and right to Adriano Curto. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. America Futebol Clube SP's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Porziano Marchitelli got free with Nildo Lara in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Adriano Curto was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. When Adriano Curto came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Italy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adriano Curto couldn't finish the play. 94 minutes into the game, Guiscardo Davide cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-9. Nildo Lara was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than America Futebol Clube SP throughout the match.
