Võ Gozali stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kyle Cox's shot from short distance in the 22nd minute. Seth Young kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes, England's Micah Macdonald shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Võ Gozali came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in England reached it. England's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Micah Macdonald in the 26th minute. The corner led England's Quinn Holmes to a score. 1-1 in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute, Kyle Cox ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Võ Gozali was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. A collision led to JFSP getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Denílson do Nascimento hit a great ball. Laerte Fernandes's late challenge caught a England's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laerte Fernandes helped the player get up and apologised. In the 41st match minute, JFSP was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laerte Fernandes to maneuver through the defense. Issac Dawson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 46 minutes into the match, JFSP's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Macdonald came free, but Võ Gozali reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kyle Cox was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Issac Dawson in the 55th minute of play forced JFSP's goalkeeper Võ Gozali to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Võ Gozali was a little too slow when Caelan Hayes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 61st minute. The score was now 1-4. Khalid Kennedy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flaco López in the 69th minute of play. In the 70th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Caelan Hayes to maneuver through the defense. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pietro Sales in the 73rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pietro Sales in the 74th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Denílson Massa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The JFSP fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Khalid Kennedy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denílson Massa, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute.
