The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Czech Republic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 6th minute. Penalty! Vavrinec Holub stood somewhat misplaced when Frank Tasso came free in front of goal and shot 2-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Adelino Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Adelino Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Saldanha in the 23rd minute of play. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Bohumir Kohout got a free kick in the 25th minute. David Rusil's late challenge caught a Ligeiro F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. David Rusil helped the player get up and apologised. After 29 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by David Rusil. Abel Saldanha succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-0 in the 30th playminute. 33 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Saldanha came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, Ligeiro F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Denis Dostal came free, but Hamílton Chaves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ligeiro F.C getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Chico Souto hit a great ball. 41 minutes into the game, Ligeiro F.C's Frank Tasso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vavrinec Holub made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adelino Ramalho in the 45th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal in the 47th minute to try and stop a shot by Ligeiro F.C's Orlando Sampaio. But to his dismay, Orlando Sampaio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0.

After having played for 52 minutes, Denis Dostal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Dostal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Saldanha in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vavrinec Holub saved Czech Republic from getting behind. After 58 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Bohumir Kohout. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 60th minute Adelino Ramalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ligeiro F.C's Adelino Ramalho in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Czech Republic's goalie prevented a goal. Denis Dostal struck a weak shot in the 64th minute. Hamílton Chaves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Czech Republic. After 66 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Betinho Trancoso. If Denis Dostal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alan Rezek blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Hamílton Chaves having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Saldanha in the 81st minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Kvetoslav Janku hit a great ball. Rubinho Cunha's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Vavrinec Holub on his right side and into the goal. 83 minutes into the game it was 6-0. Adelino Ramalho took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. In the 91st match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kvetoslav Janku to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute Frank Tasso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Tasso in the 96th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ligeiro F.C walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
