Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Frank Tasso took the kick off in the first half of the match. Bertram Svenningsen took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hamílton Chaves. Hamílton Chaves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Orlando Sampaio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ligeiro F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. In the 12th match minute, Ligeiro F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Lars Steen managed to get in a good position for a shot. Denmark's supporters rose to their feet, but Lars Steen was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hamílton Chaves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Adelino Ramalho sped through Denmark's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Keld Paulsen. A hard shot by Chico Souto from long distance, 22 minutes into the match, got Keld Paulsen's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Bertram Svenningsen hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Hamílton Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 25th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Denmark's Bjarne Kirkegaard got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Mikkel Wulff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Frank Tasso came free with the goalkeeper in the 43rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Keld Paulsen could save by the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chris Nygaard to strike the kick off in the second half. Caio Koehler hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Keld Paulsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adelino Ramalho in the 57th minute of the match. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Sampaio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Ligeiro F.C got a freekick which was hit by Adelino Ramalho. Hamílton Chaves made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Bertram Svenningsen sent off a good shot on target. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adelino Ramalho in the 68th minute of play. 72 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hamílton Chaves, 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Ligeiro F.C's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hamílton Chaves came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 81 minutes into the match, Denmark's goal looked a bit too open when Abel Saldanha came free, but Keld Paulsen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 88th minute, Chris Nygaard got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Denmark getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Simon Bendtsen hit a great ball. Denmark's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
