When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Antal Valentin made a kick off. Takacs Tibor's late challenge caught a Diego Eterno's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Diego Eterno's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eugenio Mena in the 81st minute. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play.
