Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aias Kreskas in the 15th minute of play. In the 21st minute Daniel Pimentel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Di Xuan Zhan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 23rd minute Stasio Plachetka shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Di Xuan Zhan having to make a save. When Adrastos Kourempes fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's protests and gave Adrastos Kourempes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Adrastos Kourempes hit a great ball. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Portugal's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Felipe Barreto in the 52nd minute. In the 92nd minute Fotis Theofilopoulos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, ΑΙΕΝ ΥΨΙΚΡΑΤΕΙΝ's Zlatan Ibrahim made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Wilson Amorim was left in no man's land by his defense there!
