Netherlands's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Miguel Borja scored to the left of an out of position Arnout Reekers, making the score, 1-0. After 27 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Montini was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Miguel Borja in the 30th minute of play forced Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Egbert Nijveldt kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 42nd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fortunato Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 45th minute of play. In the 47th minute Wim Wilmes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Miguel Borja to make the kick off. When Miguel Borja came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the GG Team FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Borja couldn't finish the play. Gust Ennemans made in the 55th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by GG Team FC's Bianco Zarillo. Wim Wilmes ran back to his position shaking his head. The throw-in from Gust Ennemans in the 77th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by GG Team FC's Bianco Zarillo. In the 79th minute, Meng Shi Peng hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 played minutes, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Fortunato Montini came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Netherlands reached it. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Szymon Raschke in the 85th minute of the match. Arnout Reekers didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Szymon Raschke went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. 89 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Szymon Raschke came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Netherlands booed when GG Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bo Dyken didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 94 minutes, Gustaaf Groeneveldt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gustaaf Groeneveldt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. For all the effort they put into the match, the Netherlands players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GG Team FC.
