Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Antoni Basaik kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 4th minute of play forced MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper Belmiro Negri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Belmiro Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 6th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belmiro Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 10th minute David Eikelkamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 11 minutes into the match, MALAIA FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Belmiro Negri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belmiro Negri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 13th minute of play. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute. Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Negri having to interfere. In the 24th minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arnout Reekers was a little too slow when Lubomír Meszároš got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 25th minute. The score was now 1-0. Belmiro Negri came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt. But to his dismay, Gustaaf Groeneveldt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wim Wilmes in the 36th minute of play. Vitinho Pontes hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 39th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Belmiro Negri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After taking down the ball on Netherlands's corner Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Belmiro Negri quite easily take care of the ball. In the 40thth minute of the game Lars Meesters who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 44 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goalkeeper Arnout Reekers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Antoni Basaik. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gijsbert ter Kruimer made a kick off. With his leg Belmiro Negri managed to avoid a goal in the 51stth minute, when Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lubomír Meszároš in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnout Reekers prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 60 minutes into the match, Netherlands's Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Belmiro Negri narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 60th minute of the match, David Eikelkamp tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Belmiro Negri saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 62nd minute, Lars Meesters made a precise shot to the right of Belmiro Negri. MALAIA FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoni Basaik in the 65th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MALAIA FDFDF's zone, Gustaaf Groeneveldt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Belmiro Negri came out of the goal and Gustaaf Groeneveldt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 68th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Belmiro Negri was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for MALAIA FDFDF through an amazing save. MALAIA FDFDF's Belmiro Negri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 70th minute of play. 73 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Basaik came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Belmiro Negri showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 75th minute of the match. After 76 minutes MALAIA FDFDF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Gijsbert ter Kruimer who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Gijsbert ter Kruimer got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Belmiro Negri quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Gustaaf Groeneveldt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Belmiro Negri having to interfere. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. MALAIA FDFDF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 89th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt scored to the left of an out of position Belmiro Negri, making the score, 2-4. 96 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Lubomír Meszároš came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Netherlands's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
