Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Flying Hellfish's Daniel Afloroaiei started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Michael Miels could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. 14 minutes into the match, Michael Miels had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Michael Miels was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Kazimierz Wielkopolski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kazimierz Wielkopolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 32nd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Flying Hellfish's Michael Miels slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Arnout Reekers. That made the score 2-0 after 35 minutes of play. After 39 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Kees Mooiweer. Arnout Reekers made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Afloroaiei in the 40th minute of play. When Flying Hellfish's Daniel Afloroaiei in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Netherlands's goalie prevented a goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gijsbert ter Kruimer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Kazimierz Wielkopolski successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 55th match minute, Flying Hellfish was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Oskar Lund to maneuver through the defense. Kazimierz Wielkopolski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 56th minute. In the 64th minute Daniel Afloroaiei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kazimierz Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 66th minute of play. If Daniel Afloroaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 80th minute of play forced Flying Hellfish's goalkeeper Kazimierz Wielkopolski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kazimierz Wielkopolski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wim Wilmes's shot from short distance in the 85th minute. Kazimierz Wielkopolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars Meesters in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Netherlands's Wim Wilmes ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kazimierz Wielkopolski.
