In the 7th match minute, FC PIETROSUL -MM- was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Iacobescu to maneuver through the defense. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viorel Iacobescu in the 11th minute of the match. The supporters of Hungary booed when FC PIETROSUL -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurel Teodoroiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Horaţiu Pintilie hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

In the 69th minute Major Barna shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionică Bădilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Major Barna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Ionică Bădilescu made a huge save. Antal Valentin came free with the goalkeeper in the 72nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Ionică Bădilescu could save by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciprian Halipa in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hungary were awarded a corner in the 77th minute after FC PIETROSUL -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Antal Valentin took the corner. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciprian Halipa, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Emil Ştoia kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. When the referee blew the final whistle, FC PIETROSUL -MM- could leave the field as winners, despite Hungary having more of the ball for most of the match.
